Stump grinding is the quickest, tidiest option — our machine grinds the stump down below ground level, turning it into mulch and leaving you with clear, usable ground. Where the ground needs to be completely clear, full stump removal takes out the stump and the major root plate as well.
Grinding is ideal when you want to replant, lay new lawn, pave or simply remove a trip hazard. We grind well below the surface so there’s no unsightly stump left behind and grass and plants can establish over the top, then clean up the grindings and leave the area ready to go. We can reach stumps in tricky, tight-access spots too.
Full removal is more involved, but it’s the right choice when nothing can be left in the ground — before building, laying foundations or major landscaping. We assess access and what’s around the stump, take out the stump and major roots, then backfill and tidy the hole.
