It’s All in the Details

Why hire an arborist?

Trees are long-living, and their upkeep is ongoing. It’s important to think about a tree's purpose over a longer span of time and tailor the management practices to suit. Unlike gardeners and landscapers, arborists specifically study trees in the urban environment. This includes a broad range of discipline from soil science, root growth, tree biology and an understanding of the best way to manage trees for their longevity.
Whether you are at a planning stage or living amongst established trees, one of our arborists can help you with an ongoing management plan to ensure your trees remain an asset to your property.

Our arborists can help you with;

•    New planting species advice
•    Pest & disease identification and treatment options
•    Tree health and vigour assessments
•    Tree risk assessment (QTRA&TRAQ qualified)

•    Tree pruning specifications
•    Neighbourly tree disputes
•    Tree reports/ consulting

Not all arborists are qualified, it is important to hire an arborist with the appropriate qualifications to ensure you are getting the best advice for your tree. Whilst anyone can pick up a chainsaw, qualified arborists have studied trees extensively. Our head arborist holds a Diploma of Arboriculture (AQF level V), which is one of the highest attainable qualifications within the industry. You can be sure that your trees are in good hands with Urban Tree Services.

Urban Tree Services are offering free tree assessments within the Wellington region along with their free quote service.
Our arborists are happy to answer any questions you have over the phone, or are more than happy to arrange a site visit.
